How we turned a complex product catalog into an interactive 3D conversation for web and showrooms.

The Challenge: Making Ergonomics Accessible

Se7en, a sub-brand of the German industrial giant Interstuhl, sells high-quality office chairs. However, office chairs are complex products with technical specifications like "synchronous tilt mechanisms" and "4D armrests".

Se7en faced three core challenges:

Bridge the gap between digital browsing and human assistance.

Activate passive visitors in their physical showrooms (via kiosks).

Humanize the brand in a market dominated by cold, industrial product specs.

The Solution

Introducing Willy: The Coolest Guy in the Office

We designed Willy not as a corporate avatar, but as a "designer toy" character brought to life. With his dreadlocks, green bucket hat, and sneakers, Willy embodies the relaxed but professional vibe of the Se7en brand.

More Than a Pretty Face

Willy isn’t just an animation; he’s connected to Se7en’s product logic. He guides users through a needs assessment (Sitting hours? Movement style? Lumbar preference?) and recommends the exact chair model that fits their work style.

Willy Product Logic

Willy was lovingly crafted, designed, and animated from scratch by the in-house team at Notso.ai. Built to run smoothly on our custom Notso Engine, he brings a human touch to Se7en’s digital experience.

Key Features

Willy doesn't just talk about chairs; he shows them. We built custom "Easter Egg" triggers into the AI that respond to visual requests instantly.

Contextual Switching

If a user asks to see the "Celeste" model, Willy triggers a jumpChair command, instantly loading the 3D model of that specific chair into the viewer.

Color Configuration

If a user says, "Can I see it in Ocean Blue?", Willy triggers a colorJump, updating the chair's texture in real-time.

Willy is designed to live everywhere. From the website to the physical store, he maintains context and drives engagement.

The Web Widget

Lives on Se7en.nl as a minimizable companion. He helps users with finding the right chair and answers support questions immediately.

A full-screen experience for physical spaces. Includes "Auto-Refresh" logic: if a visitor walks away, Willy detects inactivity (3 mins) and resets the session.
